'Tmax Day 2015' and 'Tmax GPC 2015'
- Sharing New Value and a New Blue Print
n TmaxSoft to accelerate
its expansion into the global market with the release of new big data solutions
and Tibero 6.
n TmaxSoft readies for substantial
growth in 2015 by establishing a base for improving brand recognition and leadership.
TmaxSoft started its full-fledged expansion into
the overseas market by successfully hosting 'Tmax Day 2015' and 'Tmax GPC
(Global Partners Conference) 2015' on March 2015 in Seoul.
Using 'Tmax Day' and 'Tmax GPC' as a launch
point to improve brand recognition and leadership, TmaxSoft has set a goal to
gain a 10% share of the global DBMS market.
Over 2000 clients worldwide attended 'Tmax
Day 2015', which was held at the COEX auditorium on March 25th. With
a slogan of 'A New IT Choice for a New Future', TmaxSoft emphasized its vision
of becoming a global software company to provide the best value for clients
worldwide.
At
the event, TmaxSoft released its new next generation DBMS product, Tibero 6,
which is regarded as an essential product for its overseas expansion plans. Tibero
6 is key in its strategy for gaining global market share by ending the
monopolistic business practices of Oracle (world’s largest DBMS corporation) through
a direct clash in the DBMS market.
As the worldwide demand for an alternative to
Oracle increases, TmaxSoft plans on expanding its global presence to meet those
demands. Expansion plans include China and Brazil, which have large DBMS markets
and offer numerous business opportunities, and Japan, which has many loyal
TmaxSoft clients. The expansion plans are based on establishing joint ventures
and OEM partnerships and improving technical support with local partners.
The
first step in TmaxSoft's plans for expansion was the presentation of various new
database and big data related products that will compete against Oracle in the
Korean and global markets. The products include the next generation DBMS
product Tibero 6, which spearheads the “Better Alternative to Oracle” movement,
a real-time big data analysis solution, a super-high capacity data
consolidation solution, and a real-time virtual data federation solution.
During 'Tmax GPC 2015', which was held at the
Grand Intercontinental Hotel on March 26th, TmaxSoft presented a new
IT future as a global software company and fortified partnerships with overseas
partners and clients from the US, Japan, China, Russia, Singapore, the UK, and
Brazil.
TmaxSoft’s world-renowned technology was on display when introducing its
full product lineup and adoption cases. The showcased products include JEUS
(the #1 Korean market leader), OpenFrame (a mainframe migration system), Tibero
(a DBMS with perfect compatibility with Oracle), and a new big data platform
product to be released in the future.
The event also allowed each
subsidiary to share individual business strategies and success stories of
overseas clients and partners. TmaxSoft also unveiled its Global Partner
Program to foster partnerships and improve leadership by providing information
about new policies and support.
A Chinese
partner representative praised Tmax’s technologies and their potential saying, “We
were able to solidify our partnership with Tmax and see firsthand the software
technologies that will lead the world. If these technologies are combined with
China’s hardware technology, TmaxSoft will be able to achieve great success in
the Chinese and global markets.”
After
the two events came to a close, TmaxSoft offered GPC participants an
opportunity to experience traditional Korean culture through activities such as
going on a tour of Gyeongbok Palace, learning the Bongsan mask dance, and
engaging in Korean paper craft activities.
President
of TmaxSoft In Soo Chang said, “Through Tibero 6 and our new big data products,
TmaxSoft now possesses the driving force necessary to surpass Oracle, which
currently dominates the global market. Through the success of Tmax Day 2015 and
Tmax GPC 2015 and our plans to expand the number of subsidiaries, we will
become a company that provides new value to clients worldwide.”
